S Kumars have set up a state-of-the-art, composite worsted manufacturing facility near Mysore, spread over 38 acres
One of the world’s most sophisticated facilities of its kind, the project cost U.S.$ 55 million and will produce 5 million meters of worsted suiting p.a. This will include superfine all-wool, polyester/wool and many other natural fiber blends for the domestic and international markets. Purpose built to produce worsted suiting as good as the world’s best, this facility is equipped with top-of-the-line machinery imported from leading manufacturers in Europe.
The initial product range consisted of 256 designs and over 1856 colourways conforming to international trends and were well received by the trade all over India.

SUMMER COLLECTION 2001

The summer collection 2001 was launched recently at a special presentation attended by members of the trade from every corner of India, consisting of 306 designs and 2380 colourways. The Company has received highly encouraging response from the trade, resulting in substantial orders and in the words of one of Bombay’s leading bespoke tailors “ the quality of this range of suiting is remarkable considering the fact that the Company commenced production a short while ago”.
