Polyester blended fabrics have played an important role in the textile industries in India, Japan and many other countries. Such fabrics have become an integral part of the wardrobe.
Recently fabric manufacturers in India have introduced suitings produced from polyester in blend with cotton. S Kumars are one of the first to introduce these fabrics in Indian and foreign markets. Polyester/cotton fabrics possess excellent drape and durability due to their polyester content and the cool and soft effect due to the presence of cotton. Test results have shown that polyester/cotton blended fabrics possess functional and asthetic qualities like any other superior suitings.
As per market needs these fabrics have been given different types of finishes such as Peach Finish and Micro Sanded. Fabrics weights range from 375 gms to 450 gms per linear metre and are available in a variety of attractive shades for the summer season.
Polyester/cotton fabrics are available in plain and dobby weaves.
